Summary: Little inspirational blurb thingy.
Note: 5 minutes of boredom and reflection.

She’s so beautiful. I know it and she knows it. The fact hangs between us, unspoken, yet omnipresent. It always has been that way. Silent words saying more than anything we said or do.

Then again, we do nothing. Both so jaded that even a touch seems foreign. An occasional hug is exchanged, but it’s only shallow. Like we’re afraid to get all the way into it. Drowning in deep water.

Both so different yet so similar. When did you stop being my reflection and start being my shadow? Or am I the shadow? Perhaps. I always feel so pale in comparison to you. It doesn’t make sense, really, as many outside would say I am the greater. But you have a brighter flame burning. I just wish you’d let it show.

You’re nothing like what I want you to be, but I like everything you do. I wouldn’t change you for all the money in the world. If you want to change, it’s got to come from you, and I’ll accept it and support it. I want what’s best for you. Please don’t give up on life, yet. You have so far to go. Get off of auto-pilot and do those things you’re afraid of.

You don’t need to be afraid. You’re beautiful. You can do anything you want.

Besides, I’ll be here, behind you, watching your step and ready to catch you, should you fall.
